Spotlit is an app designed to empower individuals by providing tools and resources to combat bias and foster a world where everyone belongs. Spotlit is a community-driven app that empowers people to report discrimination anonymously, learn their rights, and find safe businesses. Spotlit brings transparency to the public, making it easier to avoid unsafe places and support inclusive businesses.

What is Discrimination? Treating people unfairly because of race, gender, disability, sexuality, or nationality.

With Spotlit’s reporting questionnaire, users are referred to the appropriate agency to file a government report based on the type of discrimination they experienced and whether they meet the 180-day deadline required to file a complaint with the government.

Hi, I am Jamie! I have a disability, and my service dog, George, accompanies me in public. Spotlit was created to turn my personal experiences with discrimination into a platform. My vision is to create a ripple effect of awareness and accountability around disability discrimination.
